DAE Service Agreement

Digital Assets Engine (“DAE”) is a referral and software service. The contractor performs and warrants the work, not DAE.

1. Independent contractor

You are not an employee. Licenses, insurance, permits, taxes, and workmanship are yours.

2. Launch period (days 1–60)

App plan: $0.
Exclusive DAE lead you accept: $60.
Reject within 15 minutes, or invalid lead (wrong area, spam): $0.
One lead is offered to one contractor at a time.

3. After day 60

If you accept 3 or more DAE jobs in a month, the subscription kicks in:
Bridge — $99/mo · accepted lead $25
Shop — $229/mo · accepted lead $25

4. Directory

Being listed is separate from receiving leads. After 60 days, without an active listing, DAE may hide your profile and stop directory leads.

5. Customer payments (DAE jobs only)

50% in the app as an advance to start (materials and initial labor).
Balance in the app at close.
DAE does not release the customer phone until the deposit is paid.
Cash / Zelle / Venmo / check on a DAE job is a breach. DAE may hold the balance, remove you from the directory, and stop leads.

6. DAE fee

2% of amounts collected through the app on DAE jobs. Stripe’s processing fee (about 2.9% + $0.30) is separate and is deducted from the contractor payout. Jobs you found yourself, outside DAE, have no DAE fee and no app-payment obligation.

7. Designs and quotes

Photo design and estimating tools are included during trial and paid plan. DAE may cap monthly usage. This agreement does not charge per design.

8. Verification calls

DAE may call or message the customer if you mark a lead as fallen through before a visit, or when a job is marked completed, no-show, or canceled after a visit. Questions may include whether you went to the home, whether the agreed work was done, whether you asked to be paid off-app, and a 1–5 score. A false “fallen through” or a no-show may void the lead charge and freeze the balance.

9. Bilingual AI

DAE may answer English calls and chats and pass you the message in Spanish. That does not replace your visit or your written quote.

10. Rented niche sites

If you later rent a DAE domain, calls on that domain are exclusive while that rent is current. That lease is documented separately if applicable.

11. Cancellation

Month to month after trial. Cancel in the app. Leads already accepted remain payable. No Angi-style early-exit penalty.

12. What DAE does not do

DAE is not a general contractor, does not guarantee lead volume, and is not liable for defects, accidents, or unpaid work between you and the customer beyond funds actually held in the app.

Tax identity and bank account are collected by Stripe, not stored by DAE. Contractor payouts require a completed Stripe Connect account.
